Program Goals

Operation Education - Helping Rebuild Lives

Short-Term and Long-Term Goals for Operation Education at UC Riverside

The purpose of Operation Education is to provide financial, academic and living and social support to wounded U.S. military veterans that allows them to earn an undergraduate, graduate or professional degree.

A Personalized Program

The program has a goal of up to 15 students on campus per year, with three to five students added each year. The number of students is kept small to maintain a personalized program.

More than Just Financial Aid

Helping veterans pay for their college education is just one part of Operation Education. The program also provides academic counseling and support as well as helping students adjust to social and living challenges.
